Helper – Building Automation/HVAC Controls

With total in-house capabilities, ECI engineers, designs, and installs complete control systems based on the unique needs of our customers, as well as maintaining full mechanical and control service capabilities.
Electronic Controls, Inc. is seeking Helpers to assist Field Controls Technicians.
We are looking for a hard worker that is interested in getting into the Building Automation Industry.
Description:
• As a member of the ECI team, the Helper will work under a technician to install hvac controllers and devices. As an entry level helper, the new employee would be teamed with experienced technicians to learn the specifics of the trade as well as the potential for receiving online training and certification.
Responsibilities:
• Install controllers and other field devices, run low voltage cable and make termination.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
• HVAC or electrical training/experience a plus
• Interest in the construction trade
• Knowledge of computers
• Dependable
• Good technical aptitude
• Able to use hand tools and power tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform other general physical requirements such as bending, climbing stairs and ladders
Wage is dependent on experience.
